Ileana Orofino completed her training in classical, jazz and contemporary dance at the Conservatory of Music of the City of Luxembourg (LU) before joining London Contemporary Dance School in 2014. During her studies, she worked with renowned artists such as; Lauren Potter, Dane Hurst, Lea Anderson and former members of the Punch Drunk Company. At LCDS she also had the opportunity to perform in works by Richard Alston, Ohad Naharin, Company Chameleon, Scottish Dance Theater and Hofesh Shechter Dance Company. After graduating in July 2017 and as an independent dancer, Ileana joined The People United Company in September 2017 for a new creation "Wandarer". In 2018, she performed in UNDO by Emanuela Iacopini and Hannah Ma. She works for Sylvia Camarda (LU), Jean Guillaume Weiss (LU) and Jill Croivisier (LU) among others, as well as for artists of the Luxembourg music scene such as; EDSUN, CHAILD and Bartleby Delicate.
